• Little Pocket Poetry is a simple, no-frills website created to encourage and celebrate the slow enjoyment of poetry— one poem at a time.

• Geographically we are nestled in the southwest corner of Ohio on the Ohio River (specifically Cincinnati), surrounded by our Kentucky and Indiana neighbors. Philosophically we are rooted in the global notion that poems “come to life” largely by paying close attention to them.

• If you have a bit of time and a curious intention, poetry can be a kind of nourishment, perhaps even "good medicine", offering strength, comfort, and beauty to your life.
